Dear Young People,

Some of you may have been to a Christian Community Youth Conference. Some may have just heard of them or have been involved in other Christian Community youth activities. They are often a long way away and cost a lot to get there – but in July 2009 we will be hosting an International Youth Conference here in Australia .

In order to make this event happen, we're hoping to get a group together of young Australians and New Zealanders, who are interested in organizing the Conference. Everyone and anyone is welcome to join the organising team. It is a great way to get to know people, not only here in Australia , but also people from overseas.

Nothing has been set in concrete yet, not even the theme – that will be the job of the organizing team. The team can choose the theme, the activities, how the conference is going to be structured, which people we want to invite, what workshops we want to offer, and many more things.

Even if you don't know yet if you can be around for the actual Conference – you can still be a part of the organizing-team.

The dates of the Conference are the 5th till the 12th of July 2009

The first big organisation meeting will be from the
2nd till the 4th May 2008 , in Canberra .

We plan to have weekend meetings every 2 to 3 months, because it is always more fun and also more creative if people come together instead of just communicating over the phone or via internet.
