“FOLLOWING THE RISING STAR”

SUMMER COMMUNITY CAMP OF THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY
AT CAMP KOLOONA,
Sunday 2nd – Thursday 7th January 2010

“Following The Rising Star” is a theme inspired by the starry sky we can see at Kaloona, by the timeless story of the Wise Men, and by our longing for a guiding star.

There will be Time to create community together, to settle into the rhythm of life at camp and to explore the themes, to enjoy the river and country environment, and each other. We will workshop the theme, sing and dance and play games, rest and talk, swim and walk, cook delicious meals together and cater for each other, share our lives as individuals and families as well as having time to ourselves.

The start and close of each day will be celebrated with Services as part of the 12 Holy Nights of Christmas concluding with The Service for Children on Thursday.

Camp Fees: Note: These include all accommodation, food and activities. Children 6 years and under are offered a special fee. Donations above the recommended amount would be gratefully received as the fees are close to cost. Concessions will be given on request.
