ART AUCTION: CHARCOAL PAINTING BY NEELTJE PRIOR-BOLLEN
B:  Amsterdam October 9, 1941.  D:  Auckland February 6, 2017.
As a friend and student of Liane Collot d’Herbois, Neeltje was well known to us as a leader of a painting school in Auckland.  Her works are widely renowned and sought after, and have sold for prices well above $1,000.
One of the few remaining charcoal paintings in the country has been donated, to be sold in support of The Christian Community in Manila.  The Manila community is preparing to purchase land on which to build their first church.  A square metre of land is equivalent to NZ$33.50.  This is a unique opportunity to secure an original artwork by Neeltje, and support the founding of The Christian Community in Manila.  How many square metres would you like to donate ?
